My "email file to centre" is not working
The Email file to centre is not working. It says “host not found”
The Email option on the menu bar at the top of the main form displays the following screen that lets you send an E-Mail from within the MISTRO program.

The screen used to send an Email.
The first time you send an E-Mail, you will need to set the fields correctly at the top part of the form. Consult your internet documentation to obtain the required information about the mail server settings etc. If you cant find the information, open Outlook Express (if that is your mail program), and click the Tools/Account option on the menu bar. Click and view the properties for your mail account and take note of your Outgoing mail server address. It will be something like mail.bigpond.com or smtp.gippslandhi.coop. This is the value you should type in the “Your mail server” addresss. Then type your email address in.
Once you have set your mail information, type the required Recipient E-Mail address for the person who is to receive the email, and then type your message into the lower part of the screen. You can also attach a file to send to your centre by clicking the small folder at the right of the cell labelled File Attachment. This displays a dialog box that lets you select the file you want to attach to your message.
This screen is also used when exporting data to your herd recording centre. If you select the E-Mail option during that process, this screen will be displayed with the correct file already attached to the message. In this case, check that the E-Mail addresses are correct, type in a message if you wish, and all should be ready to deliver your file to the herd test centre.
When you are ready to send your message, click the Send button. If you are already connect to the net, MISTRO will now send your message. If you are not connected to the net, MISTRO will try and establish a connection, send the message, and then disconnect. If you have difficulty sending a message, try connecting to the net manually (as if you were going to surf the net) before sending the message from MISTRO. If it still won’t work for you, export your data to a floppy disc, and send an email using your usual mail program, and attach the file on the floppy disc to the email message.
