Enabling MISTRO with Norton 360 Firewall
To enable MISTRO Farm5 and the MISTRO Internet Link to work when running Norton 360 Firewall you may need to create exceptions in the firewall. To do this follow the instructions below:
1. Right click on the Norton icon in your system tray (this is the area at the bottom right of your computer near the clock). If the Norton 360 icon is not displaying click the leftward facing arrow to display all of the hidden icons.

2. When you right click on the Norton 360 icon a menu will be displayed. Left click on Open Norton 360 main Window.

3. The main Norton 360 window will now be displayed. Click on Settings.

4. Click on Firewall Protection

5. Click on Program Rules

6. Click on Add

7. Click the drop down arrow next to the Look in box to display the contents of your computer. Double click on the drive where you have installed MISTRO (normally C).

8. Double click on the MISTRO folder.

9. Double click on the Farm5 folder.

10. Double click on MISTROFarm.exe (the filename might just show as MISTROFarm on your computer)

11. The Program Rules box will appear. Click the drop down arrow, choose allow, and click OK

12. MISTRO Farm will now show in your list of programs with access set to Allow. You now need to add the MISTRO Farm Link. Click Add.

13. Click the drop down arrow next to the Look in box to display the contents of your computer. Double click on the drive where you have installed MISTRO (normally C).

14. Double click on the MISTRO folder.

15. Double click on the Farm5 folder.

16. Double click on MISTROFarmLink.exe (the filename might just show as MISTROFarmLink on your computer)

17. The Program Rules box will appear. Click the drop down arrow, choose allow, and click OK

18. MISTRO Farm Link will now show in your list of programs with access set to Allow. Click Close and then close any other Norton windows.
