To enable MISTRO Farm5 and the MISTRO Internet Link to work when running McAfee Security Centre Firewall you may need to create exceptions in the firewall.  To do this follow the instructions below:

1.  Right click on the McAfee Security Centre icon in your system tray (this is the area at the bottom right of your computer near the clock).  If the McAfee Security Centre icon is not displaying click the leftward facing arrow to display all of the hidden icons.

2.  When you right click on the McAfee Security Centre icon a menu will be displayed.  Left click on Change Settings.

3.  The main McAfee Security Centre window will now be displayed.  Click on Internet & Network.

4.  The Internet & Network Configuration window will now be displayed.  In the Firewall protection is enabled area click on Advanced.

5.  In the Firewall section on the left hand side panel click on Program Permissions.

6.  Under Program Permissions click on Add Allowed Program.

7.  Click the drop down arrow next to the Look in box to display the contents of your computer.  Double click on the drive where you have installed MISTRO (normally C).

8.  Double click on the MISTRO folder.

9.  Double click on the Farm5 folder.

10.  Double click on MISTROFarm.exe (the filename might just show as MISTROFarm on your computer)

11.  MISTROFarm.exe will now show in your list of Program Permissions with Full Access.  You now need to add the MISTRO Farm Internet Link program to your list of allowed programs.  If MISTROFarmLink.exe is not in the list of programs you will need to add it in exactly the same way you have just added the permission for MISTRO Farm5.  It is more likely, however, that the MISTROFarmLink program is in the list with Outbound-Only Access.  You will need to change this to Full Access.

12.  To change a program to Full Access click on the program name, then in the Action area (bottom right of the screen), click on Allow Access.  This will change the program to Full Access.

13.  Once you have done all of this, click OK, then close all other McAfee Internet Security windows.
