MISTRO Pocket is an easy-to-use dairy farm software application designed for use on the palm pilot or Windows Mobile PDA.  MISTRO Pocket will only run on high resolution palm pilots, or on Windows Mobile 5 or 6 operating system.  At the time of writing we would recommend any of the following models of palm pilot:

•    Tungsten E2
•    Zire 72
•    Treo 650
•    Palm TX
•    Tungsten T5

Most of the PDA’s that are on the market today should be able to run MISTRO Pocket as long as they are running Windows Mobile 5 or 6 operating system, and have an ARM based processor.

MISTRO Pocket enables you to enter or view data whilst you are in the paddock or the dairy shed, and then with a simple process transfer that data into your MISTRO Farm program.

With MISTRO Pocket you can perform the following functions:

•    Calve a cow
•    Dry off a cow
•    Sell or kill a cow
•    Enter mating data
•    Enter pregnancy test data
•    Enter treatments and health events
•    Enter workability scores

You can also view information about your cows such as:

•    Treatments
•    Lactations
•    Herd Tests
•    Cows on the bucket

MISTRO Pocket will simplify the recording of your farm information as it removes the double handling of writing everything in your notebook and then typing all of the same information into your computer.

With MISTRO Pocket you record the information once and then simply synchronise your data with MISTRO Farm 5.  MISTRO Pocket will only synchronise data from MISTRO Farm 5 and above.
