For different parts of MISTRO Pocket to function certain parts of MISTRO Farm 5 need to be configured.  These areas are for calving, matings, and treatments.

During the calving process in MISTRO Pocket it will keep track of where cows have calved which is useful if there is more than one calving paddock.  If there is only one calving paddock you do not need to set this up.  Firstly paddocks need to be created.  This is done from the Main Menu in MISTRO Farm 5.  You then choose Farm, then Paddocks.  For more information on this function you can view the tutorial in the MISTRO Farm 5 Assistant on Adding or Editing a Paddock.

To select which of these paddocks you have created will be used for calving in MISTRO Pocket go to your Main Menu in MISTRO Farm 5 and choose Pocket,  Pocket Setup,  Set Calving Paddocks.  To add a paddock to this list Click Add and then either type in the paddock or click the small box with 3 dots to display your paddock list.  Make you selection

When adding a mating event in Pocket it will show a short list of bulls.  The bulls in shown in this list are the ones configured as the bull team in MISTRO Farm 5.  To configure the bull team in MISTRO Farm 5 go to the Main Menu, then choose Bulls, Bull Team.  For more information on this function you can view the tutorial in the MISTRO Farm 5 Assistant on Selecting Your Bull Team.

To add cow treatment events in MISTRO Pocket you are only able to use treatments that you have added to the drug cupboard in MISTRO Farm 5.  There are five categories of treatments used in Pocket.  These are Hormones, Antibiotics, Drenches, Vaccinations, and Mastitis Therapy.   To configure the drug cupboard in MISTRO Farm 5 go to the Main Menu, then choose Events, Drug Cupboard, and add the treatments you are likely to use.  If there is a withholding period also add that information when it is asked for.  The withholding period is used to keep track of what cows should be on bucket.  For more information on this function you can view the tutorial in the MISTRO Farm 5 Assistant on Adding a drug to the Drug Cupboard.

Also when adding a mating or treatment event MISTRO Pocket will ask who is administering the treatment.  To add technicians to this list go to the Main Menu in MISTRO Farm 5, then click on Events, Technicians and add, edit or delete technicians as required.
